Horseracing
We accept wagers for all meetings held under the rules of the relevant local and international bodies. Bets are settled on the official result after the 'all clear' has been given.
Sports and Special Event Betting
We accept wagers for sporting and other special events that are advertised on this website. All such wagers are subject to the rules applicable to each sport, e.g. Soccer, Tennis, Boxing, etc. In a match between two teams where the participants are named, if any player is replaced prior to the match starting, all match bets placed prior to the change will be void, win or lose. Our general betting rules will apply to any situations not covered by the special rules.
Dead-Heats - where two selections Dead-Heat half the stake money is lost and the full odds are paid to the other half. If more than two Dead-Heat the stake is proportioned accordingly.
Except where specified in the betting rules for each sport, where the official result of a market is a tie and no price was quoted for that eventuality, all bets on participants involved in the tie will be void and stakes will be returned.
Unless stated otherwise within our specific rules for each sport, the result of a match or event will be determined on the day of its conclusion for betting purposes, subject to confirmation by the relevant sport's governing body. Any subsequent enquiry that may result in an overturned decision will not be recognised by World Sports Betting, and original settlement of bets will stand.
If the venue for a sporting event is changed, all bets placed based on the original venue will be made void and stakes refunded, unless otherwise stated.

Cash and other Betting
Where World Sports Betting has reason to doubt that a person who is the holder of a winning betting ticket is the person who purchased the said ticket, or where World Sports Betting knows or reasonably ought to know that a person who is the holder of a winning betting ticket is not the person who purchased the said ticket, we shall require such person to furnish, in support of his or her claim for payment on the ticket, an affidavit setting out the grounds of the claim, and may thereupon withhold payment to such person until the expiry of 90 days calculated from the date upon which the winnings became payable, or such longer period as the bookmaker may allow;
Where a person who makes a claim for payment on a winning bet taken with World Sports Betting, alleges that the winning betting ticket has been lost or destroyed, the bookmaker concerned shall require such person to furnish, in support of his or her claim for payment on the ticket, an affidavit setting out the grounds of the claim and the factors on which it is alleged the ticket was lost, and may thereupon withhold payment to such person until the expiry of 90 days calculated from the date upon which the winnings became payable, or such longer period as the bookmaker may allow; and the bookmaker shall retain along with the records required to be retained in terms of the relevant legislation, all affidavits contemplated.
