• National Gambling law prescribes that the placing of bets by persons under the age of 18 is an illegal transaction which is void in law. • No Persons under the age of 18 are permitted into WSB stores.
• FICA / KYC regulations dictate that WSB must identify and validate all customers who transact with WSB and customers. • Accordingly, you may be requested to provide documentary evidence of your identity and residence before you can place a bet with WSB. • More information regarding the FICA Act can be found at http://www.fic.co.za • If you fail to comply with FICA requirements, WSB shall be obliged to refuse to accept that bet from you.
• T&Cs for competitions and/or promotions will be made available upon request and will be specific to each competition/promotion.
• Cash settlement is permitted if cash is available in the branch. If it is insufficient, an electronic transfer directly into a customer's account will be made. • All FICA requirements must be met prior to any payments being made to a client by WSB. • Transaction exceeding 25000 will be paid via Eft. alternatively, a cash payment will be made to the customer, this will be at the discretion of WSB. • Electronic settlements will be processed within 48 hours of your request but are subject to banking hours and usual electronic settlement delays. • Cash withdrawals from accounts are limited and or subject to availability of cash at the branch. The balance of any larger withdrawal shall be paid via an electronic transfer. • WSB reserves the right to verify the identity of all account holders at any time and particularly on withdrawal of funds. WSB, in its sole discretion, may require a client withdrawing funds to affirm, by way of signed and notarized affidavit, that the bets recorded as taken on his/her name are, in fact, his/her bets and not bets for any third party.
• No Cash Bets will be paid out to any person other than the original person who has placed the bet. • WSB will under NO circumstances pay out any bets to any person without the original betting ticket. • It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure the safe keeping of their ticket / betting slip. • WSB will not be held responsible for Damaged Tickets/betting slips.
• Winning Tickets/betting slips do not have an expiration date therefore there are no unredeemed tickets. • Winning Tickets/betting slips can be collected at any time and do not expire.
• All money owing by the client for unpaid bets will be deducted from the winnings.
• It is the client’s sole responsibility to make themselves aware of the market or contingency that they wish to place a wager on, as well as the descriptions and acronyms associated with it. For example, (3WAY, 2WAY, BTS), etc.
